Patrick Jobst
Patrick Jobst has spent nearly a decade working in restaurants and hotels all over the state of Michigan. He has a proven history of running profitable, operationally efficient, and award-winning beverage programs. Before Bâtonnage, he worked in some of Michigan’s finest hotels and restaurants, most recently building strong wine programs from the ground up post-pandemic at three restaurants.
Patrick passed the Advanced Sommelier exam from the Court of Master Sommeliers on his first attempt, making him one of just a handful of Advanced Sommeliers in the state of Michigan. He is preparing to sit the daunting Master Sommelier examination this year. The Court of Master Sommeliers has fostered Patrick’s passion for hospitality and excellence, something that he hopes to pass on to guests and hospitality professionals alike.
In addition to his restaurant and hotel background, Patrick has executed countless events of all types, both virtual and in-person, and he continues to service private cellars and wine collections.
